War Chariots

We have Caravans already planned but I'm also a huge fan of War Chariots.

In my mind a War Chariot isn't much farther away than a cropped Caravan. I hope one day we will see a War Chariot cosmetic skin. Of course other priorities take precedence but every time I see a Caravan I wish for a Chariot. I think Chariots are far cooler than flying mounts. I wanted to share a personal passion.

They bounced over bumps like Cars in GTA 5. Very swift, very nimble and easy to mount/unmount. In reality more than one person would be on a War Chariot but I wouldn't expect a Replica War Chariot to allow multiple people on the transport - although it would be awesome in PvP.

well considering chariots are ment for war and there is no mounted combat I don't see this happening

I'm not sure if it is a bug, but, there is video of mounting in combat, so a chariot would add mobility in combat through mounting and unmounting. Not for fighting from the chariot but for pick ups and switch tactics.

The issue of course is the simplistic nature of the current combat. Has little depth and the Devs are still working on it.

Chariots came to mind due to the mounting in combat because I would be perturbed if I'm about to kill someone and they mount a flying mount and fly off, or mount a horse and ride off. So i figured why not use the mount in combat function a littler further.

Though overall, I hope mounting in combat is a bug to be fixed at some point.

Edit: Because if I was jumped by a Red Name Player, I'd just mount a horse (when I have one) and ride away from the threat. Though the Red Name Players seem to die pretty fast. Equally, if zerged I'd just mount a horse and ride off. In other games you can't mount and would have to fight but mounting in combat without mounted combat enables one to protect ones resources without dipping into combat.

I've achieved my desire Nagash, bought the Chariot immediately. Its been a long wait buts its been worthwhile. I understand the chariot is a caravan but I'm very pleased with the concept at present. Can't wait to see the end result!
