Skill MTX/variants

I know Intrepid has stated there will be a cash shop with cosmetics. I was wondering if there has been any discussion about skill mtx ala PoE? I realize in an MMO setting that might be troublesome for the servers with multiple players on screen, but would be a cool feature. We haven’t seen most of the skills yet and they may have a system that allows for minor variations in the way skills look/operate, does anyone have any insight on this?

    Augments will affect some skill effects, weather will affect some skill effects, seasons will affect some skill effects...I don't think skill effects will be on the cash shop. I could be wrong and I'm sure other things may affect skill effects like legendries but I would hate to go into fantasies and direct you wrong.
