Will there be combat pets?

Sorry if there was the discussion about this already, but i could not find anything about this. im talking about taming a bear/hyenas/lizard man? and if so will it be balanced like i would need to focus my talents into taming and breeding and miss out in combat abilities. or will there be nothing at all and only have mounts?
