Server reservation suggestion

Hi all, I was just watching the AMA when the server question came up. This reminded me of the system we used at school when going from grade 6 to year 7. Rather then have everyone say what class we would like to be in we put down who we would like to be in class with. I was wondering if this is something we could see when it comes to reserving our servers?
It would be a great way to have people play with their guild members and friends and Intrepid could balance out the servers, so server 1 or "cool named" server doesn't get flooded with characters.
