Forum Suggestions Thread

Let's do this! Keep in mind that forums are highly social, so tools that help foster friendship and good discussions is always welcome.

For me, a few things:
- As mentioned in another topic: the top/bottom buttons!
- Direct link/permalink to a post (small chains icon)
- Friends list (we already have ignore list, the opposite would be cool)
- Complete timestamp in posts (date+time)

All in all I love the simplicity of the forums and I like bbcode as it's very intuitive to use.

What are your suggestions to the forums? What systems could be applied here to make it even more glorious?

I dip in and out here. I would hope those functions will be on the Live Forums. It is nice to have commonalities with people but we'll all be separated by EU/NA etc Forums after release. I'm not saying friends from across the pond would be ignored at that point, but, I would expect greater functionalities to be given when we are in our relevant areas. Though I wouldn't be against changes after seeing multiple versions of the forums already.

You can bookmark or favorites something by clicking on the star, which makes it pretty easy to get to a small list of posts
