So this idea that i have will only work if i read/heard this correctly but if there are going to be packs of animals that can be harvested for Furs etc. cant whatever Gathering class that does this have a chance at a Monster Hunter type of carving the boss with the appropriate level of tool get a chance of getting boss materials. Then if you do not make the RNG roll you maybe get a lower tier mat or some other type of mat from the dungeon.
