I like the direction they are taking with animations

I know its way too early to know what things will look like, however from what I have seen so far I like the direction they are taking with animations.

The are fast, impactful, short lived and represent what is happening with an ability. I love that they keep the screen clean while getting information across.

Games like FFXIV and GW2 flood the screen with huge light shows. In large groups it can be difficult to track what is happening, it is also overbearing at times.

What they have shown so far looks just as good but is far cleaner and I am hoping it stays that way.
