Relic War Mechanic Idea

Hi everyone,

I played a game called Aika online a long time ago and they had a pretty interesting mechanic called relic war/raid and I was wondering if it could be something that we see in AOC at some point.

We could use the reliquary and relic system already in the game to make it happen :)

Each city will be able to obtain relic trough some achievement but it would be interesting to see raid organise by guild or town leader that would try to steal those relic and bring them back in their own reliquary.

Citizen of a town would then be able to enjoy the bonus during siege but it could be also some sort of passive that would be active for citizen of a node even when they aren’t at war.

Npc guard and defense should be in place to defend the relic. A cooldown period when a new relic is place in a reliquary and being able to lvl up relic (downgrade when stolen) would be all nice addition around this system.

    They have talked about this kind of thing already for sieges but who knows what they decide to implement.
