Gear chase fatigue

Coming from BDO, how will in game content prevent players from over focusing on the gear chase till they are fatigue from the game? Will the game cause weeks of farming to go up in smoke by easily destroying gear or downgrading gears?

    You will have to repair, reforge and replace gear. If you think BDO caused Fatigue, you can imagine how much fatigue Ashes will cause.

    I don't think repair, reforge and replace gear is a bad thing as far their current system goes it is healthy for the economy and longevity of the game.
    Throw in legendary time spawn and guild gated gear with "over-enchant" and you potentially have destroyed end game PvP for the majority of players.
    How ever let that gear drop upon death and you made it exciting for both sides. Real risk vs reward not just a lottery for the elite no lifers/exploiters.
