Hello, I saw this question asked a few years ago, but didn't see a clear answer. Will stealth be permanent or have some kind of timed use? Is it possible to see or detect stealth via skills or being to close? Can you enter stealth while in combat? Can bards play music in stealth? Thanks for any info. Have a good one.

Rangers will have an ability that can reveal the location of stealthed players.
We don't know if you can stealth while in combat yet.
Bards can't stealth as it's a Rogue skill, not a Bard one.
As Talents said, there's no real inv, it's just you being translucent, like the predator (not the class, the film one xD).
Maybe a Bard with Rogue subclass can have true stealth, idk.
Your subclass doesn't give you any new skills, you only get skills from your primary class, your secondary one just allows you to augment the primary ones. It's more likely that Rogue/Rogue will allow you to augment your stealth to be more "stealthy".
"There will be counter-stealth mechanics for sure. That's just a natural balancing act of stealth. But additionally with regards to you know secondary classes, one of those aspects is augments represent the secondary class and some of the- one of the most fundamental aspects of a rogue is stealth whether it be actual invisibility or the ability to sneak around in the shadows or something. So you can almost certainly count on the fact that should you go a secondary class of rogue that there will be the ability to influence your action items from your primary class with the stealth modifier." – Steven Sharif
Yeah, you can count on stealth augments, but I wouldn't count on these augments being nearly as potent as what a rogue can achieve. Testers didn't get to experience all the classes yet, nor did they get to test the secondary class system. We have yet to see how far stealth can be ranked up. We'll need to wait on more information as things get worked out in testing.
