Weapon upgrade idea

hey so i was looking at how monster hunter world has their weapon upgrade trees where you have to collect monster bones/hunt certain monsters to change the type of weapon element i think this would be cool to see in ashes lets say you want your weapon to do small poison damage over time you would have to hunt a venom type world boss and collect scales or if you want fire you would hunt the fire dragon and collect from him this is just an idea that i got but im not sure if it could work with ashes
