Much better poll than the other class poll. The other class poll only has the primaries

  • I think it's way too early for these polls, considering we don't even really know how half the archetypes work, nor what any of the augmentations do.
  • Why haven't you listed Keeper?

Keeper wasn’t such a keeper after all.

There are exactly 50 choices, which I assume is the maximum poll size. With 64 options you can’t list them all, I assume that’s why one choice is “other”. So there is only room for 49 classes.

Fact of the matter is you're upset i didn't list the tank that knows a little bit of magic when i left in DPS tanks, true tanks, paladins, basic knight ETC. I left out some of the off tank builds to leave the more pronound ones as the poll only has 50 options and left in for example Necromancer and took out Shadowmancer.
It's not like you can debate things like paladins, necromancer and even beast master would apply to more people then a basic fighter that learned some general magic.

I went Falconer. It's my latest choice. Ranger to track critters for my animal husbandry and summoner because I like pet classes.

We can compare it with the results when we do know more. I think it's interesting to see how things change.

Don't think he knew about the max options, all good.

You'll have to be summoner primary ranger second and you can have 4 active pets

A roleplayer knows what he's building. It's a matter of guessing what will closest fit what you know your going to play.

You are correct, I wasn't aware of a max options on strawpoll.

I have always played Rangers or Tanks in MMOs, I enjoy having a "familiar" if you will - I don't expect much from the secondary class, but to Tank with a animal friend sounds great!

All classes will have the option to tame a pet. You could go tank primary, bard to buff your pet and animal artisan to tame a pet.
Animal husbandry is a profession within the processing artisan class

Pets, Mounts and Livestock have unique traits that can be bred."

I want the tracking from day one, or as early as ranger gets it. That means ranger primary.

There is every chance I'll make a summoner/summoner too.

Understandable. I'll be RPing a laicized priest so thats a fair statement you need to be ranger primary.

I forgot to mention, I’m considering Paladin but who knows what I’ll actually play. I know that I’ll be a tank but I like the idea of having a holy theme and some minor healing (especially self-healing) augmenting me. I might very well do fighter or mage as secondary to boost my DPS to make it faster to solo, or just go double tank to be really good at the role. There’s no way to know yet.

  • Holy cow you actually tried to list them all.

In all fairness I can't commit to anything at this stage. I need MORE info! I do however tend to play rogues and healers (off healers). That being said maybe a Cultist or Shadow Disciple? IDK

All I can really commit to at this stage is Tulnar!

  • Sadly I am in the boat as others. I can't fully commit at this point. My thoughts now very well might change when I test the game or get more information on classes. I tend to tank or go with a class that is being passed over by others. Debuff/CC classes always tend to intrigue me as well.

Heroes Fade but Legends last forever

  • What class will you be playing?

    I play the good one.
Don't know which one that is yet.

Not as good as the other poll as 2ndary can be changed
  • Just vote for what you guys feel like now. It's not like voting locks you in for your in-game class lol.

It does! If I put it in the straw poll then it is pretty much me signing in blood!

I actually thought very deeply before voting cause it really felt like that.

  • I'm debating between Bladecaller and Wild Blade. My assumption, and of course I could be wrong, is that one them will be able to summon a pet weapon, which I find interesting.

Yep, this poll will come back and haunt us in 2 years

  • Spellshield it is most likely but i will try all 8 archtypes first before fully comiting.
As its not listed i go with others.

Healers are good at both life and death so high priests will also be able to be spaced into dmg dealer.

I can just see the trouble ticket...

BUG: I am trying to pick my secondary class and it will only let me pick rogue, please fix this.

RESPONSE: On 8/11/2020 you chose your class in a poll and your response was logged in the system, you should have given it more thought.

This seems a little... harsh... considering the man just asked a simple question.
