Will i (EU) be able to play with my (USA ) GF?

I bought the voyagers pack and am now concerned that i wont be able to play with her.
I read something about different publishers so im wondering if a mod/staff member could clear things up for me.

You can play wherever you like, but all the server time events, like sieges, would be in the time zone of whatever server you choose.
