Will the beastmaster class be able to tame creature in the open world to use in battle or is it just creatures you summon from a skill tree

    I think you use just a skill. Because the base class is Summoner, not Tamer.
    And you can switch to another secondary class which maybe summon elements or demons. And what we knów is, with the secondary class you augment the skills from the base class.

You can check out more on where we've discussed what the Beastmaster's summons might look like on the helpful community-run wiki here, including some notes at the bottom about how a similar system to the Animal Husbandry system in terms of customizing a summon's appearance might work out. You also might want to keep an eye out as we start to release more class blogs with these details as we get closer to you helping us test these systems!
