Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!
For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

Concern regarding Cleric secondary

Im aware we dont know anything about any classes yet, but primary dps archetype and cleric secondary with powerfull self heals and sustain augments sounds broken af on paper change my mind.
Some self sustain is fine, but self heals should be MINIMAL for ANY class except cleric primary.

Edit - you don't get any actual abilities from your secondary class, they all come from your primary. Your secondary class only gives you augments that you can add to the abilities from your primary - which in the case of a cleric will likely include a few self heals and such.
What you won't have, if your secondary class is cleric, is a powerful self heal.
1. Are the self-heals strong enough to truly matter
2. Would a dps secondary class deal more extra damage then healing recieved
3. Are healing reduction effects (like deep wounds in wow) a thing?
They Balance the content for a group of 8 with 1 Base archetype of each present. (Correct me if i am wrong)
No amount of Class / Tank or Class / Cleric is going to be enough to get rid of a main tank or a main cleric.
Sure if you have a group with 8 DPs class / Cleric, you may be able to do trash mobs in a dungeon.
But no bosses.
Also as stated above. The cleric also brings death augments.
There is a reason why Summoner / cleric is called necromancer.
I wouldn't worry to much about balancing for now. We know nothing about how the augments really impact the game.
Wait for Alpha 1, then we see he current balance and can give feedback accordingly.
