Throwback Thursday! #4 The Hype Struggle

NyxxaNyxxa Member, Alpha One, Alpha Two, Early Alpha Two
It seems the most commonly asked questions in streams is, "What do we play now?"

What do you do in your spare time?

Have you found a game to play while you wait? Is it something you had once forgotten in your gaming past?

What, in relation to Ashes, do you do, or watch?

Do you have a favorite Ashes Content Creator, or Streamer?

If you had to chose one game for someone to try, what would it be? And why?

If you are struggling to keep up your Ashes Hype, what are you doing now to try to keep it going? Drawing?
Watching Streamers? Found a new hobby? Making life changes?

If you had one wish, to keep you hyped for Ashes, or at least keep you occupied, what would it be for?

I typically game more than anything in my spare time, sticking to MMOs primarily.

I have been trying many games from my past such as, Shayia, Grand Fantasia, ESO, and Skyrim. Today I am trying FFXIV for the first time. I am surprisingly enjoying it more than I thought I would.

For Ashes I watch different content creator Youtube videos and Streams. My favorite and most watched by far is Jahlon (Paradox_Gaming_Network).

If I had to recommend one game that one should at least try once in their life, it would be Skyrim. It has a open world with deep history, and allows the freedom of weapons, skill points, and armor without having any permanent limitations such as a class. The first time you play it will take quite some time and become very enjoyable. I don't play it currently only because I've played it some many times since its release in 2011.

To try and keep up my Hype for Ashes, I am watching every Monthly Dev update, responding to every Dev Disscussion (even the old ones), watching Ashes 101 on Youtube, watching all of the Paradox_Gaming_Network streams, and helping out here and there on Reddit, Twitch, Discord, and the Forums.

If I could wish for one thing to help my stay excited and involved in Ashes of Creation, it would be to make AoC Apocalypse available to play again. I never got the chance to play and help, and now I wish I could have been here during that time.

I read.... like a lot. And do singelplayer / multiplayer games.

For reading i can give you this.:
    https://wanderinginn.com/2016/07/27/1-00/
Read it, you wont regret it.
By the time you are up to date, it will be time for alpha 1.

For games i currently play Crusader Kings III with a friend.
Iron Harvest has a great singel player campain that reminds me of old Command and conquer with all the voice acting.

A cheap one is Project Zomboid.
The intro "This is how you died" is accurate.
Its the first zombie game that did the zombie apocalypse right.
You are outnumberd. Extremly outnumberd. How long will you survive?

    Path of exile heist
The next season is starting soon.

On the youtuber side i keep watching Jahlon from the Paradox gaming network.
