Why should I know about all the kills that happened 30 nodes away without myself investing a significant amount of time scouting there? spy magic? (somewhat off-topic) Speaking of information availability, it might be interesting if a node's player-government gets access to some sort of local statistics (e.g. number of combat kills & murders (corruption kills) happened within zoi, amount of economic activity, what kinds of goods were sold on the market ... etc. etc.). That would probably provide even more incentive for players & guilds to participate in politics and compete for power.

I don't think it will be immersion breaking at all. Do you think enemy guilds will care about "immersion" when they're taking your nodes? Only PvE'ers care about immersion, but everyone else wants as much information as they can get in order to win. If I'm going to attack someone, I want to know what kind of player classes they have and how many of each. What kind of gear do they have? In their last battles, did they win or lose? All that information matters when engaging the enemy, even in a video game. In PvP, immersion does not matter
