First raid/dungeon clear

I think everyone who played mmorpg games before know how guilds racing with each other on who can get first clear of certain dungeon/raid and I think it should be memorized in game by putting names of those who cleared it first on wall in the final boss room

  • Do we really need that type of vanity content? If being the first to clear something is important to them, then knowing that should be enough. And they'll have bragging rights, but other than fame on the forums and on their realms I don't think we need immersion breaking vanity walls on raids. World first racing isn't a focus of the game, and it would IMO be a waste of resources.

  • Maybe something like that could go down in the library records but I wouldnt want it on the dungeon wall. Also with the raid difficulty scaling I think the goal is not complete as fast as possible, but perform as best you can to take on harder bosses with better loot.

    That wall can be hidden and appear after final boss is killed and im talking about hardest difficulty

    Well that would imply that there are defined difficulty levels and that there is a hardest difficulty. I don't think the information we have at present is fully fleshed out to know exactly how the scaling will work but my understanding (or my hope anyways) is that it will be more fluid, more of a sliding scale and that there is potentially no limit to how hard it could get (I could be totally wrong on this though, I don't know the back-end of how to scale raid difficulty and what is and isn't plausible). Regardless I don't think that type of record or achievement should really be encouraged with the focus of this game being grounded in it's own systems, not external goals like world firsts, parses etc. I wouldn't mind seeing an extra loot incentive for the first time a new world boss is downed after appearing (like an ensured flying mount drop or something fo the sort) to encourage players to keep changing the nodes in the long run and so that the appearance of a new boss becomes something of a battle between the major guilds of the whole server.
