VOIP and proximity sounds?

what are people thoughts about this one?

some games like rust and stuff have this.... altho personally i dont think its belong in a large scale mmo.. but it does offer some kind of fun

new world has it aswell.. and it does offer some social aspects of the game..

Yea I think VOIP in open world and stuff would just be completely cluttered and a mess but I mean some kind of in game voice would be nice, that's what we have discord for though so I wouldn't want them putting time into that when people just use discord anyways
