Question On Servers

I heard a rumor that a player can play on multiple servers. So a player is not fixed to one server but can move at will to play on different servers at any given time. Has anyone heard anything like that?

    One player can have several characters on several servers.
    Seems unlikely that characters can easily move to other servers.

    Just a note, an account can only have 1 freehold total across all servers. Also, IS is working very hard on having economies that are local to relatively small areas of the map. Allowing a character to move between servers (assuming they keep their gear items) would completely alter the small local economies into large cross server economies.

    A freehold is a farm.

    You can only have one farm across all your characters on all servers.

    You can have characters on multiple servers, but only one character on one server will have a farm.

    A freehold is one of the 3 types of housing available to players. Freeholds are where you buy a plot of land in some random area of the map and build structures such as a house and some types of crafting buildings such as a blacksmith area, area to breed mounts, certain types of gatherable items, etc. An account can only have 1 freehold total across all servers. As @Noaani said, a farm does sum up a lot of the options.

    You can play on whatever server you want. However, you will have to create a new character.
    You can't move your character across different servers..

    Choose your server and guild wisely. I'd imagine there will be a lot of new players to the mmo scene that do not have the experience that vanilla wow brought way back when. Being blacklisted from the server was a big deal then cause you couldn't leave lol.

    Yes and looking forward to it here. The server community being finite will be glorious.
    Don't be a jerk cause you'll end up with that reputation and soon run out of people to do stuff with or worse and up on a server wide KOS list.
    Most people never listen. They are just waiting on you to quit making noise so they can.
