Would metropolis’ have a better merchant economy?

I am wondering if the merchants in a metropolis will be buying goods at a lower amount? Let’s say merchants are buying wolf skins at $5 during stage 3. As the city grows it will attract more people which will be selling that merchant more wolf skins. Because this merchant is now receiving a large amount of wolf skins, is he now going to buy at say $1?

    Hi WhaleMilk

We haven't been told exactly how the economy will work with regards to selling and buying items with NPCs. Stay tuned for more information :)

  • If you're talking about goods from NPCs, then I suppose that's a possibility.

However, I don't feel that it would make any sense to have *player* goods cost more/less just because it's bought/sold in a certain city. Sales tax might cause some difference, but I believe that's to be set by the mayors.
