We don't have all the details on how the Library will work in terms of sharing information between players. That said, there are reasons why you'd want to share such information with other citizens of your own node. If for example you needed a specific resource to improve the node in some way.
We'll have to keep an eye out on more information later down the line. I'm going to close this thread now but if you have any other questions please feel free to reach out again.
