Who we are: We are a community built for roleplayers of Ashes of Creation to find a home where they can grow. New roleplayers or veteran roleplayers, both have a spot within the community. We strive to maintain an environment that allows roleplayers to thrive in this bold new world of Verra.

Currently at 500+ members and growing, we accept all players so long as they wish to roleplay in some form or fashion and be respectful of their fellow roleplayer.

Our goal: Give a voice to all in a welcoming environment. To help nurture those wishing to learn how to roleplay, and reinforce those that have been roleplaying for years. To stay an active community from alpha to the final days of the game.

To help establish the unofficial Roleplay servers for NA, EU, and OCE so roleplayers can find like minded individuals and create those stories that will be told for years to come.

Our promise: No single person will control the roleplay community. It is lead by a group of staff whose focus is to keep the community running smoothly. Everyone will have a fair chance within the community, and we welcome all ideas, suggestions and critiques.

    Wasn't there already an AOC-RP discord somewhere? Have they all migrated over onto this one?

    I was under the impression that the original AOC-rp community discord was laying low until the nda lifted.

    EDIT: found the original thread/post/thingy here, for reference.

    There was, but it's been quiet since January, and the forum hasn't moved much either, but there are a ton of RP guilds actively recruiting and socializing with each other. A lot of various leaders/officers from each of those guilds got together and made a new, revitalized RP Discord that's been moving quite a bit every day.

    Huh... well in that case, wouldn't it be more apt to rebrand this here community as a social hub for RP guilds, rather than something that already exists? Seems confusing to me as to why we'd need two communities sharing the same name (especially when there's a large number of rpers, such as myself, not looking to really attach ourselves to guild, this early on).

    I don't think so, because a lot of the people who joined up are also unguilded and are looking for a community to get involved with before making a decision on guild affiliation. The discussion on the server is well outside of just cross-guild communication.

    It is a community for solo players and guilds. People that have no guild, want to find a guild, or want to build a guild. All within the roleplay community. Our goal is to foster a welcoming environment where people can grow as they like. That is the reason we built the community.

    As for names, it is more of a description. We are -a- Ashes of Creation Roleplay Community. We also have Ashes Roleplay.
