Any news on Death Magic?

Hi all,
I wrote a post last year regarding death magic and its place in AoC. For me it seems the cleric as the master of life AND death was the obvious place to instill this into the game but have since been away and therefore am not sure if this was ever something they addressed in their updates.
Can anyone give me an update on where the "death knight, evil paladin and cleric of darkness" fit in (if at all yet)?
Cheers,
Loki

Thanks. I just imagine that choice can really open up Clerics beyond this "healy supporty paladin" to a really more varied class (or 8 classes lol). And high priest can be a true master of both! Flings life and death out constantly lol
Damnation is Holy.
Exorcism is Holy.
"I view the Necromancer as a master of life and death and the way I kind of want to implement our Necromancer is you can choose to be a Necromancer for good or Necromancer for dark and twisted things. Either is viable. If you want to work with spirits that aid you can do that. If you want to summon zombies and skeletons and other type of undead creatures you can do that as well; and then you can use them for your will."

Paladin should also have access to the Cleric's Death School, so should also be able to go down the dark and twisted path.
I'm still not sure that's the same thing as Evil.
True, let's go with dark and light over good and evil.
I think that every rendition of cleric should allow for this. Clerics as a primary should gain access to both light and dark magics, Clerics as an augment should have to choose (as they have stipulated will be the choice when using cleric secondary).
What I'm struggling with is they only have the "dark twisted" option if you go for an augment of cleric, not the Clerics primary classes (unless maybe high priest with the dark magic cleric augment).
Everytime I see Clerics in AoC I see the holy that Stevens talking about rather than the unholy. The "aid" rather than the "dark twisted".
Necromancer is an example of a cleric augment which suggests the augment has this, so what about the primary cleric?
And it seems like some of that could be fixed with a change in flavor text/description.
Damnation could be said to be Dark magic or Death magic instead of Holy magic.
Same with Exorcism.
Also, what's in Alpha right now is a combination of a couple of lists.
