Stealth mechanic question

I played Albion for a bit and really didn’t like how the stealth would deactivate combat in use rather than the monster looking around for his target or attacking blindly. How will the stealth work in AOC? I would personally like using stealth on 1 vs 1 PVE rather than just using it to run away.
