PLAYER COLLISION
Collision often felt quite clunky for my part. I assume that is because I was connected from EU to Shol, US-West. Often while PvEing and going into highly populated areas, I often found myself hindered by other players. I could imagine seeing players abuse this by block doors for other players so they wouldn’t be able to access services and quest locations.
I would 100% endorse having collision among players in PvP like sieges where you can make a stand and hold the line against the enemy. That would strategically make sense and I would love to see that.
The blink ability is also affected by collision, ultimately leading to the new spawn transform location to be in front of your opponent. This hinders players from strategically blinking behind a target to make a strike against someone. And I would imagine that classes like Nightspell and Shadow Caster would suffer from this if they have a Backstab ability.
BASIC ATTACK MELEE WEAPONS
This one is tricky for me as I love the impact of melee weapons. However, so far the class that I’ve mostly enjoyed playing was the Mage as I had full control of my character’s movement while attacking my opponents. I honestly feel that the basic attack of melee weapons like the mace, should not lock you in place as it could hinder you and potentially cause you to die due to being locked in place.
I have absolutely no issue with certain abilities locking you in place as that means you’d have to be more cautious when deciding to use that certain ability, but this should not really be applied to the basic attack. I think the perfect example I can use for combat feeling impactful while also not locking you too long in place, would be Black Desert Online.
CAMERA
Right now the spring arm component is affected by collision which means the camera will quickly jump if you run past a tree, or mob and your camera's spring arm is clashing with that tree or mob. I would personally prefer to only see the spring arm only take note of collision with walls, mountains and the ground. Walking through a forest at the moment is a little bit painful.

The collision while annoying is a good thing in PvP I think but since the world will have PvP in it not sure its something that can be turned off if it cannot be directly linked to PvP enabled players but then that could also provide a form of ingame trolling.
Melee attacks are still being tweaked and there are many systems that tie into melee that haven't been implemented yet. I would hold off on forming an opinion on this until the full system is implemented. I myself am reserving any hard opinions on melee until I see how the big picture looks. Yes it feels bad now, but just give them time to see how everything shakes out.
Most games do not get to give their Non-NDA feedback before it is already too late. Intrepid Studios have allowed us to do this so that changes can be made before it is too late. It is essentially important for us to give as much feedback to them as possible to spark ideas for the developers to implement early on. After all, we are all human, and no one have all the answers, hence to why we are able to give feedback.
Playing meele now doesn't feel good at all.
