Okay i had tons of fun testing sieges and no i want to give a bit of personal feedback. i hope my english isnt too bad and keep in mind i only list negatives but all in all i enjoyed my time and think the system is very promising
Raidframes/Target UI
- there should be some sort of out of range-indicator for raid members. in the siege i played a healer and it was super hard to judge who was in your vicinity and who wasnt. so i often tried to heal people that were low health but far away
-- the health display in raidframes seems to be bugged. often i saw people with low hp in the raidframe but were actually full hp
- tab targetting seems to be very random. it would be nice if tab targeting would prefer targets close by and close to the middle of your screen
Mounts
- in the siege test i felt like mounts were very weird (the targetting issue ofcourse but thats a known issue) but also how easy it is to rush through alot of people with a mount ignoring huge forces. with the nearly instant mounting and the huge speedburst it gives you its very easy to get away from people or just get past people on a mount. i think you should get thrown off your mount if you take damage in PvP . would make them way less abusable (it would bring an opportunity to implement a mount class that are combat mounts, that dont throw you off instantly but maybe arent as fast or sth)
Class Ballance (eventho its so early i wanted to say something about the class i played)
the cleric seems to be very very unballanced. i can have 3 people attacking me at once and theyll never be able to kill me before i go oom. i also deal tons of burstdamage at range and my aoe heal just full heals everybody it hits every 2 seconds or so. its very overpowered but we are in early alpha and to be fair, i didnt expect anything different :'D
Bugs
-teleporting in and out of the areas in the castle (using the NPCs at the gates) often teleports you to a seemingly random direction and not at all through the gate. sometimes i got stuck inside structures aswell
- falling through the ground (for me it seemed to be happening when i died, respawned and tried to get back to action as fast as possible and the terrain didnt load quick enough, but thats just a guess)
all in all i must say i really enjoyed the siege and eventho it was quite laggy from time to time it was amazing to see how the servers did so early in development and so many players going at it in pvp. i expected them to burn and crash but it worked pretty well. keep up the work and the 250v250 will be a thing in the finished game and it will be glorious
