Possible systems for leveling

So far from my experience in the alpha, I think that the experience split should be changed and possibly have shared loot. While in a party for items because with the current system it feels like leveling solo is the preferred method with getting maximum exp. With not being able to share quests or see other people's quests are progression wise you kind of have you go out of your way just to enjoy playing with people and so it's more appealing to just quest solo.
I think that to improve the social aspect right at the beginning of the game adding some of these systems like progression and quest sharing would help a lot and maybe reduce the reduction of the exp a little bit to make it more appealing for players to want to play together instead of just going at it solo.
That's my opinion but I would also like to hear some opinions and hopefully come up with ideas to help improve finding people to group with and leveling and improving the social aspect of the game.

As for shared loot. Absolutely not. Keep it on round robin or need/greed and understand that more people = less loot but your job is easier so theoretically you could all kill different mobs and gain items just as fast as soloing. The idea of grouping and focusing the same mobs always made me question the intelligence of others. Mobs don't scale with party size.
