Error: Could not process contents of patch manifest while preparing to patch from specific version!

I have this message after logging into the patcher and unfortunately direct support only has the advice to reinstall the game, which of course does not help. Reactions are vague and without clear instructions on how to fix this issue - for a $ 500 non-functional product which is unlucky.

    Hi again friend - first things first, I would definitely recommend a computer restart, and seeing if this issue still persists! I would also check to see if any sort of firewall or antivirus may be blocking you from progressing further. You can also try a total uninstall/reinstall following the instructions here, including removing any other places that files may be lingering.

    If you still see this issue after trying the above, please continue to work with our support team directly here for further troubleshooting assistance, as they will likely want to grab logs or other files from you to help our team diagnose this issue.

    I tried, repair, restore, uninstall, close antivirus. Nothing works.

    Hi Radeco

    This fix has worked for other people in the past, so hopefully it will work for you too.

    1. Uninstall the game and launcher through the windows control panel
    2. go into the file explorer, type "Intrepid" into the search box and delete everything you see
    3. restart your PC
    4. redownload and install the latest version of the launcher

    Also, if you haven't done so already I would recommend linking your intrepid account with discord to get access to the on the spot help from our team a lot faster.

    To anyone else who is encountering this error, if the above steps don't work, some users have reported that setting the windows display language and region to English fixes the problem.

    Solution:
    Chenge your windows language to English.

    It works.
