Concerning random crashes that seem to effect higher end GPUs

So I've been experiencing moments where my entire computer crawls to a halt and Ashes is the only program to do this. @LieutenantToast has seen a vod of this and @MargaretKrohn happened to see it live this morning.
I've had it happen on two separate PCs one running a 2080s, i7-9700k, 16g RAM and my current one w/ a 2080s, i9-10900K, and 32g RAM
I know Jahlon has had similar issues as well on his 3090, although I'm not sure of the particulars of his issues.
I have completely wiped my PCs and even cranked the graphics down which minimizes the issue to every few hours but doesn't solve it completely.
Honestly the fact that it happens on such a variety of PCs and (seemingly) more so w/ those that have high end GPUs I'm wondering if an option to cap FPS could help and could possibly be added into the game in the very near future.

I have played the game at 1080p, 1440p, and 4k for several hours with no crashes or issues graphically or with fps. Although I am settling to run the game in 1440p since I dont notice a huge improvement in textures at 4k.
Zero fps lag in most areas although public dungeons are lower in fps, sort of expected I suppose.
I tend to run the game on max settings, 1440p, with another MMO game open in the background and twitch or netflix playing on the other monitor.

game run perfect and i stream it too . never lags run perfect on 4k
maybe drivers need to be up to date . then again could be anything
I have:
- Ryzen 5800X
- 3080
- 32 GB RAM
- freshly setup systems and newest drivers...
I've recorded task manager as the game's running to show the issue. Luckily, I haven't crashed recently because of it, but it's still an issue to be addressed.

Yea, that's one of the reasons I think it happens less w/ my upgraded rig b/c I now have twice the RAM.
Just playing and the times and activities are all over the place, really doesn't seem to make a huge difference.
I considered memory leaks but I don't know why that would seemingly affect higher end cards more than lower or why it would happen to my two entirely separate computers.

I am running a 3080TI
Are you over clocking your gear? Maybe it makes it unstable, if you are, knock it down a few notches to see. The game not being optimize is using as much resources as you can provide.
I'm not overclocking anything, the lack of optimization is why I think it might be an FPS problem
