Battlegrounds type of pvp, and hidden rating.

I have thought alot about this during the latest expac for WoW.
Fresh players who are not very good at pvp, yet, queeing solo, facing top rated premade teams in casual random bg's.
A hidden rating that will set up players against others with about equal skill/gear/playtime in bg's, could make the experience alot better for players new to pvp. It could produce much more interesting/fun pvp.
And a better challenge for the more seasoned pvp'ers.
Also a fresh pvp'er who dont react "quickly enough" for seasoned pvp'ers on their own team often gets a handful of badmouthing. Setting up more equally skilled players with & against eachother could be a good way to avoid this toxicity as well.
The fact that there arent factions should make this easier for AOC to implement than other mmo's since there wont be factionimbalance to take into account.
Just a thought from someone who pvp's in other mmos...ALOT.

Battlegrounds = Castle Sieges, Node Sieges and Caravans.
It is good for you to know this.
Arena will have a ladder system with specific rewards.
also the performance in the different PvP system (like guild wars, arena, and others) will be measured on a 6 month PvP season, and there will be results depending of this global score you will have.
So, while all PvP can make you have better rewards every 6 months, only arena will have a rating system (not even hidden) with its ladder. All other content are not designed around anykind of matchmaking system or close to it
