Low Level Hunting

So this just happened to me today, and some may take it as griping/moaning but whatever. I have just recently started, just shy of level 5 and progressing through quests to explore the "new" nodes and camping points. Have a decent amount of resources on me by this point as i've been gathering and hunting on my way in between. Anyways, as I'm talking to the new, to me, merchants/processers I get attacked by someone only assume is at least double my level as I get killed in two ticks of 215dmg each, so I lose easily half my resources there. Again dont care, risk/reward balancing issues and pvp I am good with. Now on my way back to said town to do the part of my quest there and then try to dip, I get attacked by someone at least 3 levels above me and die pretty quickly, again. And again, losing a large chunk of my already diminished resources.
Now, I understand it may come off as griping/crying, but I'm just trying to suggest something for players JUST STARTING the game. Whether that is a level anti-pvp lock, similar to BDO (Black Desert Online for those who don't know) or/and a city/town safe zone that is active ONLY WHEN there is no siege/player-monster attack. I am all for forced PVP and Risk/Reward drops and the such, but I'm only looking for suggestions and suggesting things that are more balanced for newer and more casual players. Now I understand this is only Alpha 1 and we don't have much to work with on levels and level locking pvp, but it would be nice to see a safe zone in towns, as suggested above, or some sort of level protection.
What are other's thoughts on this?
