Now after several days of testing wanted to speak a bit about skills since i played mostly mage i dont will go in skill of other classes much.

I Like how the skills work and how they diffrent in effects also that each weaponkind hats its own Q attack

The crurrent seen Skills on Mage were
Target locked dmg:
- Frieball & Drain Essence
Area effect dmg location selection
- Lava Storm & Meteor Storm as well Black Hole
Area effect dmg directional
- Thundershock, Prismic Beam & Blink
Support friendly target locked or on self if enemy target locked
- Gift of the Magi

What i read from other classes and skills that also area effect on caster

what i would also like to see is target locked area effect skills as well groupe skills.

like a heal that atomaticly heals groupe members or if selected on a friendly target it does heal the target and friendlys around the target.

for mage the Area effect dmg location selection skills where hard to place when to many skill emontions were visible it was more a guessing.

the skill i would love to see getting changed a bit are
Blackhole to a targetlocked skill
Gift of the Magi to convert to like a groupe buff skill with less mana regeneration and higher cost but applys to all members of the groupe
the current gift of the magi is a soso skill uses 50 mana gives you 50 mana and a tik of 5 mana per second the inital cost is a bit confusing, for me it would make a bit more sense if it would use hp instead of mana to give mana
for the groupe buff i would go with something like:
manacost incresed to 100 and it gives each member 10 ticks of 3 mana a
on level 2 the ticks goes to 5 mana
on level 3 the initial cost is reduced to maybe 50

thatway the skill may not give a benefit to the caster but it gives a benefit to the groupe giveing on
level 1 -100 mana caster +30 mana up to 8 players (total 240 mana)
level 2 -100 mana caster +50 mana up to 8 players (total 400 mana)
level 3 -50 mana caster +50 mana up to 8 players (total 400 mana)

but since no augmentations are out that might be some of the changes that comes with it.

just a few ideas to give imput to the devloping team.

but im licke how the skill are currently the post should only give some input to enlarge the diversety of skill effects.

    new skills
    - mana channeling (from anime Log Horizont) that combines the current mana of all groupe members and does give eveyone the same amount
    - life chain (from game battleforge) that chains all lifepoints of the groupe together so all members stay alive as long 1 hp is left (like a counter for heavy bossaoe or wipeing mechanics if casted at the rigt time
    - superskills that may use a addtionional powersource that gets charged over fighting and with skills that have a high cooldown of several minutes or even hours (from anime Overlord or game Aion)
    - debuff that increses dmg of several hits (from anime Log Horizont)
    - aura area effects that make the caster imoblie during the caste and uptime and gets stoped once the caster gets ccd, time of duration is over or the caster moves

    besides on me giving input on possible skills or skill behaviors what is needed is:

    a way to cancel skills. if selected a Area effect dmg location selection like Lava Storm, Meteor Storm or Black Hole on mage i cant cancel it until i casted it or i dont get rid of the targeting even when mounted. also the Prismic Beam cant be stopped and needs to be casted to the end and keeping me from moveing. sometimes it would have saved my life if i could cancel it specialy if i need to move position due to incoming aoes from bosses. or if i stood to far away or the target did move out of my range.

    on bug side Lava Storm wasnt possible to select by clicking the icon with LMB only by typing the number.
    and chatting numbers did select the linked skills in the hotbar

    Any skill I wanted to cancel I just used the ESC key and it removed it from play.

    ok didnt know that but would like something more apealing like the dogde or geting on mount as cancel as well.
