I'm bored obviously. So hey free idea.
Beta 1 and 2 participants should get a pair of sandals as part of a reward for helping testing. Maybe have the capacity to do a quest to change their color to something desirable to the player and maybe a transmog quest so you can always be wearing your spiffy totally not a cult outfit sandals even at high gear levels. Let's see them orc and dwarf toes! Lastly, lets have a secret corruption line quest where you can get corrupted socks that you can where with your sandals.
For the transmog quests, maybe you gotta fight some sandal angel deity thingy for your offense to the gods. Or maybe if you reject this corruption questline you face a giant socks and sandal ogre demon with bad breath poison and defend down and heavy cc stuff. Idk go bananas. Make this end boss tier hard. Really sell the hit.
