Charcter PvP Mastery

In some MMOs (like Albion) there are things called spec and it takes huge amount of time to make a full spec, im wondering if there is some system like that in ashes or maybe if not it should be.. ik ther is leveling up to 50, but thats a thing that everybody will go pretty equaly, and there is a gear diff, but i dont that that gear diff will be huge eaither, so maybe some reward for ppl who focus only on getting stronger pvpwise

Yes, this game will have specs.

Each of the 8 base classes has 8 secondary classes they can pick. This forms the basis of your spec.

From there, you have about 30 abilities to chose from per base class. There is no defined number of abilities that you need to pick - you gain points to spend in them and can use a point to either buy a new ability, or to upgrade an existing ability with new functionality.

Further to that, there are augments you can place on abilities, which alter the parameters of the ability.

Combine this with your selection of armor and weapons, and you have the basics of what you need to create a spec.
