end game

please please answer the following!!! How will you cope with end game "mode", the visuals are great and all but players will eventually get to the max level and this is the real test for the game. It is the most important part of the game it is the most crusual part. It seems a bit early to think about it but its the core of every game!
Thanks and best of luck!

Ashes does not have an endgame.
Max Adventurer Level is not the end of the game.

There are other forms of progression to pursue:
    Node
    Node Type
    Racial
    Religion
    Social Org
    Artisan

Content comes and goes with the rise and fall of Nodes and the construction/destruction of buildings and services.
Also, the plan is to introduce new content quarterly.

If this was just scripted PvE then going stale would be a real concern. The game play anticipated with large scale PvP events should allow plenty of opportunity for battle excitement which can not be predicted and in a sense, can not go stale as long as it's something you are looking for.

That sort of thing has gone stale in nearly every mmo which has had that attitutde in recent years. Today's players take the path of least resistance. Developers will never do what -has- to be done in current year, which is to force pvp interaction, and so servers will inevitably become dominated by one or two guilds where the rest of the community stick to their pve.

I think you have forgotten just how big Vera is going to be...I just don't see 1 guild dominating a complete server. Maybe....maybe.....maybe one complete side, but the whole world? Nah....it's too big and human nature (drama) won't let it happen.

Max level content does not have to include only map domination of a guild.
Feels like they try to focus on node system or map/game huge changes that are community based, the lone player wont feel like he has any self development after getting his stats maxed(craftsman, jewelry craft etc).

That has been the past practice for a lot of games but these servers will have too many players and guilds to be singularly dominated by so few. The full world servers are planned to have 50,000 accounts each with concurrent players at 8,000 to 10,000, but that is still 50,000 rotating players due to timezones. The guilds are limited to several hundred and even if allowing for the guild alliances mechanism, there will be an overwhelming number of players who will compete in the nodes available, which is only about 100. Long story short, many of us believe there can be no total domination if the game achieves its subscription levels. As an aside, the PvE aspect may well meet your expectations.

There's quite a wide range of personal horizontal progression to do after reaching max Adventurer level, even after reaching max Artisan Level as well.
