Stats influencing appearance.

What do you people think about stats influensing appearance? Not necessarily to an extend where having 1 strength will make you look anorexic, and 1000 strength will make you look like the incredible Hulk, but just so that you could tell.
So that by looking at a caracter you could tell that he is probably a magic user of some kind, and looking at another you could tell that those hands are probably used to waving swords and shield around, and not a magic wand.

No thanks. We don't need such concepts. We will have an excellent character creator. If the mission becomes 'eat 5000 eggs and become a superhero' I'd reload DCuO and practice my healing and dps combinations lol.

I recommend reading this thread for previous discussion on the matter.

I figured someone already wust have brought this up at some point, but in that threat the idea is to make appearence influence stats - so you create a different looking carachter and he gets different stats. What I am talking about is stats influensing appearence - so everyone creates what they want, but down the line the appearence changes as you level up and get more strength/intellect or whatever else.
So no bodybuilder-looking mages, and no teeny-tiny warriors.

That would be nice. But appearance is no longer tied to gameplay in any game.

Customization and vanity sells more than anything else in a game and your suggestion brings restrictions. Designers are no longer allowed to say "no". It will never happen.

Well, isn't it The Ashes Of Creation, where all of our unpopular and not financially viable dreams come true?)

*Waiting for Noaani to come ant tell me how it will take too much money to write that code, and how it would be better spent on combat or something like that*
