Just want to hit some points I think are pluses and the one minus I spotted within context of the video.
- + A lack of CC for the style presented is a good call and generally a good feeling.
- + Balancing for both PvP and PvE is refreshing to hear.
- + Player agency in the combat system is a great philosophy to stick to.
- + Overall I like the direction the basics are headed too, it is the right direction with regards to movement and still maintaining a weighted feel.
- - The dual wield dagger block, though the first pass. I would like just observe that I hope there is thoroughly ironing out in these mechanics where two daggers don't actually block like that, rather weapons parry, block, or both in regards to their weight. I think a movement, quick, active parry for lighter weapons and then a soft parry/block for weapons like the Greatsword, then a full block for a shield would be the appropriate application of weight. (Really it just looked awkward with that movement that you have going on)
Love the combat direction and philosophy, just want to see it completely through out the combat design.
