Flavor text additions to player crafted gear

One thing I always enjoyed in WoW was that each crafted item would forever state the item was "Crafted by X". I always tried to seek out the same blacksmiths or enchanters for all the work I needed done.

I think that simple idea could be embellished upon. I would love if, e.g., weapon crafters could add flavor text to a crafted item. It's very histroically accurate for someone going to a swordmaker to have them etch on the blade a family motto, or imprint the family coat-of-arms onto a pommel. It gave the crafted sword a personal touch. I would love something like this from AoC. I want a crafter to be able to add flavor text to the items they craft. It would look something like this when you scroll over the item:

Sword of Knightly Service
[Stat Block]
Crafted by Korro
[Flavor Text] Etched onto the blade are the words: Never Bend

Little flavor additions that have no effect on gameplay seem like a good thing to me. And it would help the crafting process be that much more impactful and fun.

    As a crafter I liked that Archeage also had that, crafted by X. My name was on gear and weapons in the world, great advertising. But I don't think flavor text would go over well in general.

    Sounds like a nightmare to profanity check those as well as all others chat systems in the game.

    Not a crafter, but it'd be cool if they could leave their name or a quote similar to how archeage did it.

    I love this idea. If artisans in real life have their "signature" why not have it in games? Even if it can't be unique for every item at least let Artisans have a "stamp" or "watermark"

    I'm not a crafter. I'm a PVPer and from my point of view, id love it if you guys were able to do something to crafted items that added some sort of unique flavor by whoever crafted it. i'd for sure be seeking specific crafters that did things i thought were cool.

    I would accept this in the way it is done for certain Titles in some fighting games I know.

    A long list of curated words you can use, combine 3-5 to get some form of thing you want to say.

    Unlike names or other things, this is much more likely to be useful for just flavor text, and people who want to be silly will also enjoy coming up with silly things.

    A giant Hammer etched with 'Herald Of Potatoes'.

    Or my personal favorite 'Loaf Of Paint'.

    I think it would be dope if yall had options when crafting weapons.
    Something like enchantments on the weapon that add poison damage, or a specific elemental damage.
    but as a crafter you can only specialize in poison, or fire, or ice., etc. but just one of them.
    so we would for sure be seeking out specific crafters who specialize in whatever enchantment.

    Man, that would be nice.

    I've always loved the "Crafted by: " in games.

    It would be really cool for rare patterns or things like shipbuilding.

    I don't know if they could make a signature phrase/quote/name of the weapon so that it is troll-proof because people will always find a way haha but if so that would be a nice addition.
