Will mage hybrid class be useless?

I dont see many reasons why any mage hybrid classes to be from any use, more specifically tank, fighter, ranger and rouge.
Any1 maybe know if we will be able to use spells in some other way?
Like maybe infusing a sword with fireball to make fire sword for some time or maybe infusing arrows with magic making it for higher ranges or maybe fire shield,....etc
Im kinda interasted because many other mmorpgs mage hybrids doesnt make any good build.
What do you think? Drop a comment. 😀

Mage/Tanks: Tank augments could potentially revolve around giving your mage abilities defensive buffs or crowd control.
Mage/Fighter: Fighter secondary may augment mage abilities with more focus on mobility or on closer aggressive spell combat.
Mage/Ranger: Ranger augments could likely have a focus on CC or mobility, or improve range.
Mage/Rogue: Rogue Augments could have a focus incorporating stealth into abilities or focus on weak points increasing crit chance.
All of these are theoretical, but it just comes down to how creative intrepid gets with incorporating the augments provided by different secondary classes and keeping them all balanced and viable, no easy task.
The "use" comes from the Primary Archetype.
Secondary Archetype is about the various ways you might want to dabble in some other archetype and synergize with people in your group.
A Mage/Rogue would be be infusing their Fireballs with Shadow damage or Poison damage.
A Mage/Tank might be creating a temporary barrier like an Ice Wall.
A Rogue/Mage might be adding Lightning damage to Backstab.
A Tank/Mage might be adding Fire damage to Javelin.
If you're wondering why people would choose to be an x/Mage...
We need to know what the other Mage augment Schools are, besides Elemental and Teleport.
Will there be a Mana Drain School??
