Skills/Spells
Give Rogues some form of legit stealth/invisibility.
Shadow Walk: Makes user become stealthed until you initiate combat. (Can be seen by those with True Sight when within their radius.)
Slit: Melee ability that wounds the enemy throat, preventing casting spells for a short duration.
QuickStep:Short dash, user becomes stealthed briefly after use.
Backstab: A quick short range physical attack. Big damage but you can only use it when stealthed.
Of course to counter this, you give some class variants that have buffs a new added effect to certain buffs called True Sight. Have it create a radius around the player that reveals any sneaky sillyheads.
You could also alter the True Sight radius depending on the buff.
Give some classes the abilty to enchant weapons. For example, Rogue could apply a poison to his weapons. So weapon attacks poison your foe, lowering his strength and doing damage over time.(Enchants to could alter weapon look too)
Please give one of the mage variants some decent DoT spells.
Sanctuary: A temporary buff that reduces incoming magical damage by a percentage.
Divine Blessing: A temporary buff that increases your max HP/Mana and gives a small True Sight radius.
Regeneration: A temporary buff that restores a small percentage of health per second.
Golden Armor: Temporary buff that reduces incoming physical damage by a percentage.
Aura of Anti-Magic: A temporary buff that gives you a percentage chance to block magical attacks and gives a medium True Sight radius.(This one is interesting. You could do something like diminishing returns on its percentage to block while active. For example, you cast it on yourself. Now you have a 75 percent chance to block damage from the next spell. Once you block that first spell, you now have a 50 percent chance to block spells. once you block two more spells, your chance to block a spell gets cut down to 25 percent.)
Soul Cleanse: Removes negative debuffs off caster and allies. (Makes caster immune to debuffs/stuns for a short period.)
Healing Hands: Big and instant health! yay! (can cast on self and allies)
Sapphiric Wave: Caster emits a shockwave that damages and reveals any enemies close enough.
Sunburst: BigDamage, quick cast time but long cooldown.
Bloodfrost: Damage over time spell. At the end of the spells duration the target becomes rooted briefly.
Dark Hex: Debuff spell that increases the magical damage a target takes for a short time while also blinding them.
Thunder Strike: Meager damage! But give it utility and make it stagger or stun an enemy.
Thick Skin: A skill for a melee class variants. Have it reduce physical damage by a percentage.
Have the Constitution stat determine how much HP you gain per level.
