Gear Themes - Submit Ideas

I thought it would be a nice idea to submit theme ideas for gear that could apply to a variety of different base class types and armor types. They could end up gear theme ideas for in game crafted items in game - who knows! Submit yours here as well!
* Dungeon Diver series - one that shows wear and tear from adventuring (burns, tears, holes, mud/dirt all that tell a story of a close call or traps sprung ... bandoliers and backpacks/satchels.)
* Adventurer Aristocrat series - a take on adventurers that settle down into a form of affluence, governance, and wealth. The dagger hilt poking out the top of some fancy boots. A holy symbol damaged by adventure but polished. That sort of vibe. Subtle hints wrapped in a luxe package.
* War Torn series - battered, bloodied, and brutal (think pvp centric)
* Salty Sail series - class inspired gear themed/adjusted for naval combat/setting

And some Villainous gear sets - instead of all the gear being Heroic.
I like this. Here are a few that came to mind:
- a guild set that shows the guild emblem on several different pieces
- an explorer set with climbing gear hanging off the belt and a map rolled up some where
- a wilderness set meant to help blend with natural environments

I love this idea. You're on the same page as me.
I really like the idea of artisan sets too!
Genuinely asking.
It's like a normal set, but with angry eyes.
In Ashes, it would probably be similar to what The Others and The Ancients wear.
Seems like they could also find inspiration from antonyms of the player character cultural ideals: Destruction/Chaos/Corruption... etc.
D&D has villains using motifs, like Spiders... so perhaps Ashes villains would use motifs from mobs, like Flanglers.
What nightmarish figures lurk within the Void? How might the villains of Sanctus weave their veneration of such vile beings into their daily wear?
@Vaknar
I'm content to leave it up to whatever the Intrepid Studios artists imagine villainous to be.
Stuff like the Landsknecht:
Genoese crossbowmen:
Jomsvikings:
Black Riders:
And so on
Great references for them. Nice job!
