With the demonstration yesterday of the snail with legs I have to ask if that is a result of splicing DNA? I'm sure its just a mount with legs, but what if it were not? What if the snails DNA was the shell (protection) while the legs were from a horse for speed? You would take traits from different species and have a chance to get the offspring you wanted. Mounts could be limitless then to an extent. There should also be traits for appearance and traits for abilities.
