Some questions about mechanics

Questions:

Due to a large majority of the content being open world, how will looting open world bosses work? Does everyone get their own separate loot drops or is it going to be a roll system etc.

Do you guys plan on having a stat similar to item level on gear, like world of warcraft?

Lastly, will there be ranked leaderboards for arena 1v1s, 3v3s, and so forth? Will gear be equalized or will gear matter within pvp?

    Open world raiding means that there will be pvp. Whoever survives takes the loot.
    Also dps and aggro will determine which group gets the loot if people dont pvp over the boss.

    We dont know much about arenas.

    Gear matters in pvp.
    There will be tier brackets for items but they didnt say anything about gearscore.

    No scoring system for gear as of now.

    Gear will matter in PvP. Equalization isn't really part of the game design.

    Loot will go to the group that did the highest % of Damage to the boss, with bonus % for having dealt the first hit.

    Within the party itself, you can select what kind of roll system you want. (Master, bid, ffa, roll, need/greed). NO personal loot option.
