What are your current Computer specs?

I am just piggybacking off of Intrepid's latest social media post where they are doing a little market research into the Computer setups of their fanbase!
So Ashes community, what CPU/GPU are you currently sporting?
i7 4790k
GTX 970
(an iconic combination I know)
I intend to upgrade the GPU but I expect the CPU to be fine, so will look to bump up to a 1080 or an RTX 2060.

I have a budget 60 fps 1440p and 1080p monitor set up.
I expect to upgrade before ashes release I want to run a high end ultrawide with big dick graphics and high fps.
GTX 1070
strix 970 (fuck asus)
Already have a 3080ti for a new build tho, so will be upgrading to a ryzen 7 or 9 of the 5000 series soon
16G
Nvidia 1080
I hope to be able to update before release, but I doubt I will, so that UE5 better work on my 1080, just as devs said during the last stream!!
1080ti (sadly it's the cheap gigabyte version and the mounting for the cooling is broken, basicly dislocated but works fine with ok temps)
I don't know what will life bring until ashes release, but it can happen that I will need newer hardware if this gpu doesn't survive.
NVIDIA Corporation TU106 [GeForce RTX 2060] (rev a1)
32G RAM
I have no intent to upgrade and quite hope that the release plays as well as the alpha did for me.
RTX 3080
32 GB RAM
M.2 NVME SSD
Will upgrade later this year to the new upcoming generation.
Huh, I guess I'm not the only one to have the same PC since 2013.
Originally I had:
In 2017 I upgraded to a GTX 1070 and 32GB RAM. This year I upgraded to a RTX 3070.
The 4790k is still kicking ass, but I can definitely feel it struggle and/or bottleneck the GPU every now and then.
Ryzen 5900x
Might go back to nvidia next time. For all the hype AMD gets I saw no difference. Just a worse app.
That sounds about right haha. What kind of games/setups are you finding it bottlenecking? i.e. what graphics/res/fps are you aiming for?
I've personally grown not to aim for 60fps for most games lol as my gpu is a bit of a let down for newer stuff but your upgrade path is very close to what I am aiming for! prob an RTX 2060 or a 1080 just because the 1080 is still a monster.
RTX 3070 Ti
32GB ram
Ryzen 5800x
RTX 3080 FE
32GB RAM
Might get a 5950x and new Mobo in a few months, even though I absolutely do not need them... Ugh.
Some games are both CPU and GPU hungry, so I can definitely tell when my GPU is chilling at ~70% usage but the CPU is at 95% and the FPS is struggling to maintain 60. This happens a lot in Rust (even on low settings and 720p, Unity that game is poorly optimized), but I believe it also happened in Ghost of Tsushima @1080p, so I turned the settings down to maintain a high FPS.
Personally I care more about the FPS than the resolution/graphics, so I usually downscale and/or lower graphics of the games I play to get the highest FPS possible. I haven't really played an MMO in ages, so unless Ashes makes me, I won't be switching from my (2x) 1080p@144Hz setup.
That's the reason why I upgraded my GPU twice. First time it was for PUBG, that game was awful fun in the first 6 months, good times, but the FPS was a struggle. If I were you, I would stay away from the 1080 or even the 1080Ti because it doesn't have RTX ray tracing which might become a big deal really soon. The RTX 20xx family is pretty good, but I feel like the 30xx improved it a lot and it's worth paying a bit more.
If you are able to grab any 3060, 3070 or 3070 Ti for a good price, I wouldn't think twice. And they probably have a lower TDP than your 970, so no need to upgrade your PSU!
A compelling argument! I am happy to wait a year or more for a GPU so maybe a 3060 isn't a bad shout
3070ti
32gb RAM
CyberPowerPC - Gamer Master Desktop - AMD Ryzen 7 3700X - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super - 1TB HDD + 500GB SSD
Any suggestions? Will this do for Ashes? It's about a year old. I don't mind buying a new computer once the game releases though.
It's not a bad PC, but you'll probably need to play Ashes on medium settings at 1920x1080 to try and maintain good frames.
Regarding buying a new computer, I highly recommend watching videos and learning how to "build" a simple air cooled PC. It's usually cheaper and better than buying pre-made PCs and you might even enjoy doing it.
I'm an Empyrean... I'll hire a slave to build it for me.
GPU GeForce GTX 1650 super
I desperately need both more RAM and a new processor but guh
