Watch The Ashen Forge: Episode 70 - The Combat Conundrum
In this episode we discuss several recent forum posts concerning open world PvP interacting with open world PvE raids, given that we have been told only 20% of world bosses will be instanced. There seems to be a sudden realization of what this means to those who like to raid along with PvP. I have no intention to regularly participating in open world raids unless I need something specific for crafting. As a PvE crafter I have come to accept that I will have PvP encounters. I guess open world raiders will now also have to come to accept that. Although, admittedly, this design decision seems highly likely to reduce your overall player base (as does crafters having to contend with PvP).
We also discuss several fan questions for the next livestream including deconstruction, Tulnar racial abilities, AI, node timers, guild branding, influencers and artisan paths.
