Bard Offhand Idea: Standard/Banner

Simple concept. A bannerman bard to me makes a lot of sense. Inspiring presence/buffs to those around them through rallying. Could pair this with a typical 1h weapon or even something like a warhorn for bards. Just thought this would be a really cool option. Not married to the idea, just figured players would be stoked to have functional bannerman carrying their guilds standard into battle.

I could see it being a skill, but as an actual item, everyone would need to have access to it.

A skill with something like a 60sec timer could have a similar effect.

I like the idea, a 2 handed item for the weapon & shield slot.

That's actually a really interesting take on the bard archetype. Would look great during sieges too.

Well u could also put it on the backslot instead of a cape. Another option is thag u put it as polearm/staff weapon which World have higher dmg in magic than physical
