Question regarding Alpha/Beta access

Hello everyone,
after seeing the latest gameplay footage I'm tempted to buy one of the bigger packages which would inclue Alpha phase two and further.
My Question now is: Would this just be something like short sessions lasting a few weeks, or are we talking about basically ongoing playability until release?
kind regards

I would personally expect Alpha 2, and the betas, to be similar in structure. The main difference would be less wipes.
I don't believe it is fully decided exactly how long each of those upcoming Alpha/Beta periods will be, or exactly how close to release.
That's the current dev goal.
Alpha-2 is known as the persistent alpha. Persistent means that the Alpha-2 servers will be kept up all day and night until launch.
There will be downtime for patches.
There may still be character and testing wipes.
Alpha-2 servers will become the public test servers (PTS) post-launch.
Used to test patches and updates.
Beta-1 and Beta-2 will probably not be persistent.
All servers will be wiped prior to launch.
Guess i have no choice now
This was pretty much exactly what i wanted to hear. Thank you!
Edit: I was actually able to google that myself -> "to be announced"
