Side games- Competitive emergent gameplay ideas

Below i listed just a few potential ideas for some what i guess would be "emergent gameplay" that could be leveraged to create some unique competitive modes for all types of players
1. I think, if done well, these options could add a huge variety in content, while also scratching the competitive itch for both pve and pvp players who want to take a break from progression based content
2. These could all be pvp/pve/a hybrid of both/or a choice between several, to add layers of teamwork/competition
3. This could also incoporate economical and social benefits through betting systems
4. Winners could be determined in various ways, by players themselves or pretermined conditions
5. Additonally, maybe the rules and boundaries of some of these could also have the option of being player driven in addition to having an official form/ruleset
6. Also, you could add strategic elements such as being able to apply certain magical affects such as from potions to gain competitive advantages, like using a growth potion during a race to go over top of people or get access to higher up shortcuts
game ideas:
Racing-
Iron man race
(maybe a race designed to go through every major part and biome of the map, through various types of terrains and water- potentially having to deal with various emergent threats along the way, which could incorporate the seasonal aspects like navigating through a blizzard/sandstorm- and could also tie in to the political aspects depending on motivations for players from all over the map to get involved)
-competitive mountain climbing/jumping puzzling
-Mount/pet racing
-Wipeout style obstacle course game
-hidden treasure races
-olympic games style competition, with various rulesets/objectives to represent different sports (such as a quidditch type magic-based sport to leverage a flying mechanic, confined to an arena)
-NPC gladiatorial combat recruitment and management system
-Mount/Pet combat (these could maybe even be an illegal/blasphemous
thing to create conflict between player religions/groups)
-Skill-shot based archery contests
-Hide and go seek
-(Not sure how impactful the water physics are for something like precision balancing but)- surfing
-Water skiing using mounts, with ramps to do physics based/animation based tricks
-Beast herding/coralling
-Tracking/Hunting (either pve or pvp but each player has a specific player they need to hunt and either kill or accomplish some objective on)
-Jousting
-Diving board styling (maybe there is a big rock surrounded by water and your animations do something wierd in the air and the player has to make stylish dives and you have to pick a diving spot where you want to maximize your air time but still survive the landing for max style points)
-Escape rooms
-Mazes
-Murder mysterys (either cooperative/pvp/hybrid)
-Decorating
-Profession based competitions
(Like fishing/wood chopping contests)
These are just a few, but being a sandbox type game, there are tons of ways the mechnics could potentially be used to create unique spins on different competitions and various types of gameplay. I think taking inspiration from player-made modes of other sandbox games could lead to some fun ideas that could only happen in the ashes universe
