Mayor role related to pvp

I was just thinking if there will be a system where people would automatically become criminals with higher bounties if they killed the mayor of a city and the mayor didn't fight back.

Also the gladiator mayor if they were killed in pvp would that effect their standing as the mayor mechanically?

Currently im assuming it's only going to effect the RP side of things but it would be kinda neat if there was some sort of ripple in the node they govern over.
This is super minor in the scheme of things but I feel like it would be neat to see things that would be rare occurrences since there would only be so many mayors

any other thoughts?

    Seems like that's not necessary.
    If anything, the Mayor would just make their killer an Enemy Of The State.

    the first one i would say yea since they can set it manually but im thinking just the idea of "someone killed the mayor" outside of just being an rp thing
